Our world was moving well. But somewhat like on a pace that made a dangerous crash imminent. There were problems almost everywhere in our world. Then, the pandemic and some ravaging harsh realities brought our beautiful world to its knees.
The first set of lockdowns looked like we all needed a break. We needed to slow down a little bit. Then it got uncomfortable and more uncomfortable.
Suddenly, we realise to some extent, the futility of everything. We realize all that we have taken for granted, opportunities missed, and many things that we have not been grateful for.
Everything acquired, achieved or learned and by all means, suddenly seemed useless or for want of description, unable to fill the huge vacuum of trueness, love, genuine affections and communal existence. Left in our silos, loneliness swept through our hearts and world for not being able to as much as hug or smirk at a so called enemy. Our mental health was and is still hugely challenged.
How deeply connected we are but had built up walls and lived like we needed no one. Of what use is wealth that cannot satisfy? A pat on the back, a warm embrace, a bear hug and holding of hands made more sense.
Quickly, we all hit the online community seeking the human angle, the human touch; the human connection is paramount to our existence as a people.
I am Chinyereugo, a gift to my generation. I am the heart teeming with gratitude and appreciation on behalf of everyone else. I am the creator of Thanksgiving Galore. We breathe the same air across the five geographical zones of the world; from THE NORTH FRIGID ZONE, THE NORTH TEMPERATE ZONE, THE TROPICS, THE SOUTH FRIGID ZONE, AND THE SOUTH TEMPERATE ZONE. Just like the pandemic waves shook us all, let us shake up our world with Thanksgiving Galore. If you can find or have at least one reason for gratitude, come with me to the place of gratitude. It is a bubbling COMMUNITY.
Community Connection for growth and strength has been my passion.
